You need to develop a short list of about 100 keywords for your ad. You will eventually build this list into about 1000 but 100 is a good place to start.

SET UP YOUR ADS ON GOOGLE ADWORDS

Now that we have our keywords, you need to set up an account with Google Adwords. The reason we want to start with Google is they will produce the most traffic and we can test ads. We will discuss testing a little later, because right now I want to focus on setting up our ads.

This is NOT rocket science, just follow these easy steps:

1.Pick the countries and language that you want the ads to run in. I usually select the U.S and Canada with English as the language.
2.Now it is time to write the ad itself! With Google you are limited on space so make every word count. You will need to write a headline and two lines describing your ad.
a.Headline - This must be an attention grabber and it is critical that you include your keyword. I have also found that placing the headline in the form of a question helps with your click - through rate.
b.Description - Briefly describe what it is you are selling and explain how the reader will benefit from your product or service. You need to include your keyword in the description as well. (Some keyword phrases are awkward and trying to use them in the context of the ad is hard. Don't get frustrated by trying to make it work. If the keyword flows naturally in the ad, then use it!)
3.The next step is adding your keywords and keyword phrases. Google Adwords allows you to enter keywords 3 different ways:
a.Broad Match - A broad match will trigger your ads anytime one of your keywords is within a search. So if your keyword is "golf" and someone searches for "the best golf club" then your ad will be triggered. Broad match will deliver the least amount of targeted traffic and is not highly recommended.
b.Phrase Match - To enter your keyword as a phrase match you need to put quotations around the keyword like "golf equipment". This is a slightly more targeted way to get traffic.
c.Exact Match - Exact match keywords are the most targeted and they are entered with brackets, like [golf equipment]. The only way your ad will be triggered is by someone typing in the exact keyword you are bidding on. In our example, if someone typed in "golf equipment" then your ad will show up as a sponsored ad. This is the most effective way to get targeted traffic to your site!
4.Now it is time to test your ads! You need to write two ads for every ad campaign you have. Only make slight differences in the two ads, just change one word for example. Let the ads run for about 500 impressions and then see which one gets the highest CTR (click through rate). When you have determined which ad is the best, then change the ad slightly and run another ad to see if you can make it better. Always keep trying to produce better pulling ads, because Google Adwords will reward you for a high CTR.
5.The last step is setting your bid price for your ad campaign. I suggest a little trick that will help your conversion. Bid your keywords to get into first position and let your ads run in first position for a few hours or up to one day. Then reduce your bid price to place yourself somewhere in the top 8 ads. This will help your CTR and you will get a higher position for less money per click!

Once you have some proven ads that are pulling in the profits then start placing them on the other Pay per Click Search Engines. Always start with Google Adwords because they are the only company that will allow you to test ads.

It is longer time from my last post. At last part I wrote about Entrecard as possible source of traffic for your blog. For better traffic it is also important to have backlinks on your pages. Only web with existing backlinks is visible on internet and has some value for search engines. Usually backlinks are more important to mark your page as valuable source, than good source for traffic.

There is more possibilities to gain some backlinks for your pages. I will show you more ways, how to gain them. In this part I will show you the basic one. I will show you how to submit your blog to various directories. It is not easy to promote your blog. Submission to directories is very time consuming process. There are many important questions, before you start to submit your blog. I will try to define them and answer on them.

1. When to start to submit my blog? Answer on this question is simple. You need to have some content before submitting your blog. Owners of directories usually approve only submissions with some valuable content.
2. In how many directories I need to submit my blog? Simply said more is better. It is good to submit your blog to directories permanently.
3. Where to find directories? You can find them of course on my pages. Go to my SEO directories list. There you can find thousands of them.
4. How to choose right ones? There are more opinions on this question. It is good to choose directories with high Google page rank of course. But many directories has high page rank only because they were created on strong domains. These domains usually drop down in short time. Sometimes it is better to choose new directories, because they usually grow faster and you will be approved sooner. There are of course very strong old directories. I recommend you order my list by Website Force. It is my own complex rank for pages.
5. How to automate submissions? As I said above, submission is very time consuming process. You can do it yourself, or you can choose from thousands of submission services. Many of them offer you submission to thousands directories for very good prices. But usually quality of these services is very poor. These submitters usually use some software to automate this process. The software can submit your blog to many directories but with low success rate. Owners of directories hate these SPAM submitters and usually decline such submissions. I can offer you truly manual submission service for affordable price, but here is not place for ads. You can also try to submit your blog yourself using some software. You can do it with better success rate. The best way is of course manual submission. You can do it with help of online tools and add-ons for Firefox. How to do it I will show you in the next paragraph.
6. What are important data for submissions? When you are submitting data to directories, you need to enter data to submission forms. Some from them are very important, and they must to be chosen very wisely. Especially anchor text (Title in forms). Anchor link content have to be keyword for which do you want to be visible in search engines. It is rule not to use the same anchor text for all submissions, but vary it with more keywords. Also description can be important. Sometimes you need to enter keywords in submission form. These keywords help you find your page in directory itself.

2.CPI-M flays move to raise foreign investment in
insurance


2.Expressing “shock” after the Congress-led coalition government on Monday introduced a bill to increase foreign investment in the insurance sector, the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) said it would “harm the financial sector”.

“The Manmohan Singh government has introduced a bill in the Rajya Sabha to increase the FDI (foreign direct investment) cap in insurance sector from 26 to 49 percent. This is a shameless move to facilitate greater control of the insurance sector by foreign insurance companies,” said a statement issued by the party's politburo.

The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government introduced the bill for the amendment on Life Insurance Corporation Act 1956.

“It is shocking that the Congress-led government is taking this step at a time when the financial crisis in the US has exposed the pernicious practices of the insurance and financial companies of the west,” the statement issued by Hari Singh Kang, a CPI-M central committee member, said.

Denouncing the move, Kang said the move by the Manmohan Singh government would "harm the financial sector and import the crisis into our system".

“This confirms the fact that this government is more interested in favouring international financial capital at the expense of the country's interests,” the statement said.

CPI-M said it extended “its full support” to the strike Dec 23 by the insurance employees against the bill, it said.

IRDA for raising foreign equity cap in insurance

The Insurance Regularity and Development Authority (IRDA) would favour raising the foreign equity cap in the Indian insurance sector
from existing 26 per cent if the Indian promoters fail to enhance the capital base required to sustain high growth.

‘‘We feel that as the business grows, the capital base has to be increased. If the Indian players don’t bring additional funds
, the government has to raise the foreign equity cap,’’ IRDA chairman C S Rao said on Saturday.

Maintaining that the Indian insurance industry already has the presence of major foreign players, he said, ‘‘The IRDA will favour increasing the equity cap for foreign insurance companies
to enhance the capital base.’’
